Innerview’s Founder and Principal, Dean R. DeGroot, is a business consultant and licensed psychologist who has been a change agent for individuals and organizations for more than 16 years. Dean is an expert in assessing, creating, and evaluating various aspects of change, giving individuals and organizations insightful information on “bottom-line impact” and helping them set and achieve rewarding goals.

Experience with Individuals – Dean has been an outplacement and career development professional for more than 15 years, using his expertise in personal improvement and change management to help individual clients in a variety of fields and circumstances. His skills in counseling, coaching, training, and psychological assessment have helped hundreds of people realize their professional dreams. Dean refocuses mid-career professionals into more meaningful work avenues.

Experience with Organizations – Extensive experience in a wide variety of work environments has enriched Dean’s outlook and knowledge base on organizations and the challenges they face in dealing with change. Dean has worked in the manufacturing, service, government, healthcare, and consulting sectors, and seen various management styles (some healthy, some not so healthy) along the way.

Dean holds a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis & Therapy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He’s also pursued post-graduate work at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis.
